Binghamton Town Center Farmers Market moves to new location

A construction project prompted the Binghamton Town Center Farmers Market to operate at a different location this summer.

The new market site is on Collier Street, just off Court Street. It’s a few blocks east of the Washington Street pedestrian mall, where it has operated for the past few years.

Market manager Eliana Epstein said around 20 vendors are participating this year. A variety of items, including fruits and vegetables, as well as mushrooms, meats and prepared products are sold.

Live musical performances are scheduled at the downtown farmer’s market over the coming weeks.

The farmer’s market is open Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. This season’s final market is scheduled for October 5th.
